I love carrots!

Well I must say that Taylor certainly enjoys her carrots!! Her first time eating them she wasn't too sure what to think of them but now she gobbles them right up. It was the same thing with the rice cereal, although she took to the oats cereal right away. Next choice will either be squash or peas.

This week was supposed to be 6 months needles but due to cold weather and a burst pipe that appointment got delayed. So, we will have to wait and see how big the girl is next week. She is definitely 19 pounds by now.

This week we also managed to get our laundry room finished. We have flooring down as well as new baseboard and a cabinet/laundry chute. We even managed to get a small hole in the wall for the cats to access their litter boxes without having to leave the door open to the back room. Now we just have to oil the cabinet and my scrapbooking room will be all ready!! Can't wait as I have lots of pics of Taylor to get working on.

I'm 6 months old!!!

Wow - where has the time gone??? It is hard to believe that our little girl is 6 months old. Today, we took Taylor for her 6 month doctor's appointment and I am happy to say that she is doing very well. She weighs 18 pounds, 8 ounces which puts her in the 90th percentile and she is 27 inches long (also in the 90th percentile).

We also had another big milestone this week in that we added cereal to our daily routine. Taylor seems to really enjoy so far! She is very happy to have Daddy feed her. We have the first feeding on video for you to see when you come home again Auntie K! In 10 days time, we get to try veggies - yum - organic carrots!!

Happy New Year everyone! We just wanted to share a few pics from Taylor's baptism yesterday. Actually, they are from the post-baptism get-together at Grampy and Nana's house. The pictures are of Taylor with her great-grammies, grammy and grampy, Meme, Mommy and Daddy. I will add another post for more pics later!!

Hope that everyone had a great New Year's Eve! Taylor managed to stay awake for the ringing in of the new year and got a new year's kiss from Mommy. She also got to see her first fireworks display at Wayne and Tracey's house.
